Meet the RTM Directors

Louise Woollard
I've lived in the Bagel Factory since it opened in 2019, and it’s very much home for me. I really care about the building, the people who live here, and the wider community. After years of being managed by agents who didn’t have that same personal connection, things have been a bit neglected—but I’m committed to helping turn that around and making this a place we’re all proud to live in.
As a Director of the Right to Manage company, my aim is to make sure leaseholders get clear, honest, and good-value property management. I come from a background in project and contract management, so I like to take a structured, practical approach to getting things done and making improvements that matter.
I’m especially passionate about transparency—helping residents understand how decisions are made and exactly where their money is going. Open, honest communication and being accountable to the people who live here are really important to me.
Above all, I want to see services improve and make sure we’re all getting real value for the money we contribute.

I've been living in the Bagel Factory since it opened in 2019.
Like many of you, I’ve been frustrated by the level of service we’re getting for our service charge—and how costs have more than doubled since the beginning. That’s why we’re working to set up a Right to Manage company: so that we, as residents, can have more transparency, more say in how things are run, and more control over how our money is spent.
We’d love to see more people get involved in this effort. If you’re interested or have questions, feel free to reach out to any of us—we’d be happy to chat.

I bought my apartment at the Bagel Factory off-plan, and stepping inside for the first time was both exciting and daunting. Since then, however, I’ve grown to truly love Hackney Wick and all it has to offer.
That said, one of the ongoing challenges for many residents — myself included — has been the management of the building. We want to enjoy our homes and community without the constant frustration of unclear or escalating service charges.
Professionally, I work as a Creative Director at an advertising agency, where I’m regularly involved in complex discussions and negotiations aimed at finding the best outcomes for everyone involved.
I believe that by coming together as residents, we can take greater ownership of our experience here in Hackney Wick and work toward making it a better, more transparent, and supportive place for all of us who call it home.

I also brought my Bagel Factory flat off plan and have lived in the development since April 2019.
With a career in management consulting and transformation, I have a keen eye for operational and financial efficiency, including cost effective building management and maintenance.
The lack of transparency and consultation with leaseholders regarding our building’s management has motivated me to help create a more open, inclusive experience for all Bagel Factory residents.
Together we can also deliver better value for leaseholders.
